How to prepare Eggplant Stew

Eggplant is well known for their delicious tendency. They are law in macro and micro nutrients, low calorie and rich in fiber. Due to those characteristics, eggplant plays great role in combating heart problems, cholesterol. It gives you a good amount of potassium and vitamins like vitamin A and C which guarantee cell protections. Eggplant ease diabetes due to its high amount of polyphenols which make sure controlled sugar processing in the body cell.

Are you allowed to eat Eggplant Uncooked?

Eggplant can be poisonous but not to the extent that people say. Its leaves and flowers in particular hold a level of poison that can harm a person. You need to eat at least twelve raw fruits at one time. Only then the poison in eggplant can harm you. It is clear that it has a very small amount of poison. This amount can’t harm you if you eat it raw. It is also safe if you decide to cook it in your preferred way, like frying or boiling.

To prepare this meal, have the next items:

  • 4 Eggplant of your desired size
  • Salt
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 50 gm butter
  • ½ chopped fich
  • 2 clove crushed garlic onion

How to Prepare Eggplant Stew?

• Peel the eggplant well and cut into pieces of the desired size

• Boil the pieces in salted water for at least 30 minutes. Make sure to use low heat

• Pour off the water you boiled it in. This helps remove the bitterness in the eggplant. It also reduces some of the poison.

• Fry the onions and garlic in butter. When they are brown, add the fish pieces.

• Put the eggplant in your mixture and let them boil together for five minutes.

• Within five minutes, your meal will be ready. You can eat it with any food of your choice.
